Temptations
The work represents the encounter between desire and the inability to fully embrace it. Two bodies share the same space, yet not the same inner disposition.
While one figure appears open and present, the other withdraws, dominated by the weight of its own thoughts. Temptation does not appear as an action, but as an unresolved tension.
Desire here does not lead to contact, but to inner conflict. Physical closeness contrasts with emotional distance, revealing how impulse can become a burden when it is not accepted.
The enclosed, circular space traps the figures within a shared mental state, where desire, guilt, and fear coexist without resolution.
