The City

This work belongs to the period in which the music of Vangelis formed the conceptual core of my artistic production.

The City appears as a natural extension of The First Lights, while shifting its temporal focus: it no longer addresses the awakening of the city, but rather its full heartbeat. The scene unfolds in the late morning or at midday, when parks fill with children, streets with passersby, and workplaces come alive.

The work seeks to capture this everyday dynamism through a contemplative gaze, evoking not only the urban rhythm, but also the poetry hidden within the seemingly ordinary.
